Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something, as law enforcement cannot control crime without your help. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.
St. Croix: On Wednesday March 23, shortly before 9:00 p.m., three armed and masked males, dressed in black with their faces covered with black masks or T-shirts, robbed the Concordia gas station on Queen Mary Highway in Frederiksted. It is not known how or in what direction the robbers fled, but police are certain that somebody knows something.
St. John: On Monday March 21 at 6:15 a.m., the manager of Concordia Preserve in Coral Bay arrived for work and found the office front door open. A burglar had entered the building by prying open the western side window. St. Thomas: On Friday March 25 at 11:00 a.m., police were called to 7th Street in Sugar Estate concerning a burglary in progress. The burglar fled before police arrived. Again, police are certain that somebody knows something and they encourage you to speak up now before you or someone you know becomes the next victim.

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something, because you are helping to making a difference. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.
St. Croix: Many citizens, particularly seniors, are losing their money to scam artists, embezzlers, unregistered stock brokers, and unscrupulous salespeople. There is no such thing as a “free lunch.” If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Assume the worst, and get a second opinion from your attorney, accountant, or clergy person. This "white collar crime" may be non-violent, but that is no consolation to the victims who go hungry or who lose their homes. Please work with law enforcement to reduce these crimes in our community.
St. John: Deputy Chief Foy is asking citizens to provide any information on individuals involved in the sale of illegal drugs, especially in the bar and restaurant districts of Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. Please provide as much information on these individuals as possible, including their names and aliases, the make, model, and license plate number of their vehicles, and the location where you observed them selling drugs.
St. Thomas: There have been a number of strong arm robberies targeting females and the elderly. Police believe that the robberies in the area of Sugar Estate, Polyberg and Barbel Plaza are being committed by the same person. Help law enforcement identify and arrest these robbers by telling us what you know. In addition, if you see any suspicious activities, please report them immediately by calling 911.
Please continue to make our community a safer place to live by submitting information on these or any other crimes at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). On Monday, January 24, the body of 16-year-old Jamal Richardson was found in a church under construction in Estate Two Brothers in Frederiksted, St. Croix. This child was murdered apparently because of personal prejudice. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man`s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true."
Please help law enforcement find the killers of the many individuals throughout the territory who have lost their lives in apparent hate crimes, and let`s put an end to these types of crimes. We are asking every parent, relative, and friend of the victims to show their love by helping to bring closure to the families, and justice to the criminals.
Law enforcement thinks that many friends of the victims know what happened in these cases, that they told their parents or others whom they look up to, and in turn were told to be quiet and not get involved. Please don`t be a part of the problem. Like the St. Thomas mother who encouraged her son to assist the prosecution and bring justice in a recent murder case, please encourage your children and others to talk to law enforcement or to submit their information anonymously to Crime Stoppers, providing as much information as possible about the incident. Teach your children and others to be brave, to always do the right thing, and to help make our community a safe place for all of us to live, work, and raise a family.
You can submit information about hate crimes or any other crimes at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Accidents happen, but hit and run is unacceptable. If you were driving on Rattan Road around the time of this incident and saw something, please tell us what you know. Help detectives identify the driver and the vehicle and help bring closure to the family. If you were the driver of this vehicle, we recommend you turn yourself in, as the justice system will definitely take that into consideration.
St. John: Between Friday February 18 at 4:00 pm and the following Monday at 7:00 a.m., Alfredo’s Landscaping at #5 Enighed in the First Quarter Cruz Bay was burglarized. The minimum cash reward is $714 for the arrest of a burglary suspect.
St. Thomas: In recent weeks there have been too many incidents of adult males being suspected of sexual assaults on children. It is time to put a stop to these incidents. Please assist law enforcement agencies and families to find and prosecute these predators of our young. Let someone know what is going on in your home or in your neighborhood.

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to identify and arrest the individuals who are burglarizing homes throughout the territory. Most of these burglaries are occurring during the day while the residents are out. Areas being burglarized on St. Croix are Estate Barren Spot, Strawberry Hill, Estate Smithfield, and Mt. Pleasant West. On St. Thomas, there have been at least ten burglaries on the North Side with the burglars possibly using a small black car to get away. On St. John, the major locations are Gifft Hill, Glucksburg, Chocolate Hole, and Estate Carolina. Most burglaries are solved because somebody saw something and told law enforcement what they needed to know. Work with your neighbors to stay informed about crime issues in your neighborhood, and if you see something suspicious, says something. The minimum reward for the arrest of a burglary suspect is $714.
Items being stolen include laptop computers, big screen televisions, jewelry, and cash. Most of these items are being resold. Please note that the sale or purchase of stolen property is a crime. If you are approached with a so-called “bargain,” don’t buy it. Realize that the item was probably stolen, possibly from the home of a neighbor, a friend, or even a relative of yours. Be part of the solution by reporting the details about the property and the person who offered it to you. Help put an end to these burglaries by telling us what you know about the sale of stolen property.

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve metal theft crimes throughout the territory. If you know something, say something. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.
Over the past several weeks, the territory has experienced several incidents involving metal theft, possibly for sale in the scrap market. In St. Croix, graves at the Kingshill Cemetery have been desecrated by having brass grave markers pried off and stolen, including from the grave of a police officer who lost his life in the line of duty. For the sake of the families of the deceased, please tell us what you know. In Frederiksted, two males were caught and arrested after taking heavy copper wiring from a residence. In other cases, wiring has been taken from communications facilities, which could negatively affect any of us throughout the community.
